Stacking the Shelves: The 6th Target by James Patterson

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.  It is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, be it physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Tynga publishes her post each Saturday, so be sure to link up your posts and check out what books others have added to their shelves that week.

The 6th Target by James Patterson (Women's Murder Club #6)

This has been a very entertaining series so far, but I have a long way to go if I'm ever going to catch up in this series.

Goodreads Overview:

The 6th Target (Women's Murder Club, #6)When a horrifying attack leaves one of the four members of the Women's Murder Club struggling for her life, the others fight to keep a madman behind bars before anyone else is hurt.

And Lindsay Boxer and her new partner in the San Francisco police department run flat-out to stop a series of kidnappings that has electrified the city: children are being plucked off the streets together with their nannies--but the kidnappers aren't demanding ransom. Amid uncertainty and rising panic, Lindsay juggles the possibility of a new love with an unsolvable investigation, and the knowledge that one member of the club could be on the brink of death.

And just when everything appears momentarily under control, the case takes a terrifying turn, putting an entire city in lethal danger. Lindsay must make a choice she never dreamed she'd face--with no certainty that either outcome has more than a prayer of success.

  1. I have heard great things about this series, but haven't read any of them. Maybe I'll check out the first from the library this summer. Happy reading!

  2. I have gotten all of them from the library so far. It is a great murder mystery series so far. Only drawback...There are a TON of books in the series.
